Jim Wirth started out writing for Select and then NME in the 1990s while working behind the counter at a second-hand record shop in London. Jim wrote for Uncut before joining the MOJO gang and was once declared Wally of the Week by the Sun for a deeply pretentious review of Wham’s Greatest Hits.
