Wu-Tang Clan mastermind RZA has many skills – producer, rapper, chess player, martial arts movie buff and gastronome. He’s also an actor and filmmaker and has just directed edge-of-seat heist movie Cut Throat City.

Centring on four friends pulling a daring job at a New Orleans casino during Hurricane Katrina, it stars Shameik Moore (he voiced Miles Morales in Spider Man: Into The Spider-Verse!), Demetrius Shipp Jr. (also known for playing Tupac in All Eyez On Me), Kat Graham, Wesley Snipes, Terrence Howard, Eiza González and Ethan Hawke. The director admits the story has deep resonances with his own life and career, revealing in the latest MOJO, “The fun is always finding the piece of the story that relates to your life - that spoonful of soul you put in goes a long way.”
